Step 1 paint correction is a 1 step process using only 1 combination of pad and polish. This correction stage is mainly meant for brand new vehicles with very minimal love marks, swirling and or paint contamination. This process is also used to replenish ones paint, leaving it flawless.

Step 2 paint correction is a 2 step process with the use of 2 different kinds of pads, a polish and a cutting compound. This correction stage is meant for vehicles with light-moderate swirling and light scratching. The first step is the cutting abrasive stage that is done to remove all the fine swirling and scratching, following that stage is the polish to remove all the marring and or holograms left behind by the other pad during the cutting process. This last step is crucial to replenish the color, and gloss in ones paint, such as a stage 1 correction only with a different kind of polish and or pad.

Stage 3 paint correction is a time extensive 3 step process. This correction process uses heavy cutting pads to remove heavy scratching, heavy swirling, moderate to heavier defects, heavy paint contamination etc. Same steps as Stage 2 except we first start with a heavy cutting abrasive and heavy cutting compound and focus those areas with heavy defects, we will even wet-sand areas needed.
Then move to a moderate compound to work out those not so heavy swirling and scratching and then follow with a beautiful polish. This correction stage is a long and extensive process but the results are show room worthy.
